Pregnancy Support Group

When expecting is not going how you were expecting.

Pregnancy is often portrayed as an exciting and joyful time. But for many people, it can also bring anxiety, depression, uncertainty, fear, or emotional overwhelm.

You don't have to pretend everything is okay just because you're pregnant.

Beyond the Baby Blues' Pregnancy Support Group is a free, 6-week group where you can connect with others navigating the emotional complexities of pregnancy.

Groups are facilitated by licensed mental health professionals specializing in perinatal mental health.

This group may be right for you if you’re experiencing:

  • Anxiety or excessive worry

  • Depression or persistent sadness

  • High-risk or medically complicated pregnancy

  • Pregnancy after loss

  • Fear surrounding pregnancy or childbirth

  • Stress and overwhelm due to pregnancy

  • Changes in your relationships

  • Difficulty adjusting to pregnancy

  • Feeling disconnected from your pregnancy

  • Difficult life transitions while pregnant

You don't need to be experiencing a mental health crisis or have a diagnosis to participate. Sometimes simply having a place where you don't have to explain why pregnancy feels hard can make a meaningful difference.

What to Expect

Each group is intentionally kept small to create a comfortable, supportive environment. Sessions are shaped by the experiences and needs of the participants.

You'll have opportunities to share what you're going through, hear from others navigating similar challenges, and learn practical tools from perinatal mental health professionals.

Our Approach

A Space to Talk About the Parts of Pregnancy We Don't Always Talk About

Pregnancy can hold conflicting emotions at the same time—excitement and fear, gratitude and grief, hope and uncertainty.

Our groups make room for all of it.

Participants can share openly, learn coping strategies, receive guidance from perinatal mental health professionals, and connect with others who understand.
